- Gorgeous vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in a luscious pale pink color with a large white rose motif. It is a European damask fabric manufactured around 1950 to make mattress covers. This fabric is unused. Very rare! A treasure of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It is made of medium weight cotton. Strong textile perfect for upholstery projects. Large white roses dot the entire fabric. The pink yarn of the pink warp gives a shiny satin look. It is a perfect textile for upholstering French style chairs. We have this same recovered fabric in a stronger pink color.
