- Wonderful vintage ticking fabric in Tuscan yellow, grey and white stripes. It is a sturdy European fabric manufactured circa 1950 that blends sateen weave with damask jacquard with geometric motifs of squares on its yellow lists. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutís" (from French "coutil")
This fabric has never been used. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It's a light to medium weight cotton. Perfect density textile for tablecloths and duvets. The yellow hue gives a warm look to our projects.
ROSARIO SAYS: "I am fascinated by how with few elements they managed to make such interesting fabrics: Here, a simple damask making squares is mixed with the intense yellow base and on the other hand the thin grey and white lists manage to soften the yellow shine and make the fabric more elegant."
