- Vibrant vintage ticking fabric in soft orange and white. It is a sturdy European fabric manufactured circa 1950 that mixes sateen weave with damask jacquard with motifs of small squares on orange lists. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutís" (from French "coutil")
This fabric has never been used. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It's a medium weight cotton. Perfect density textile for upholstery projects, curtains, duvets, patchwork, tablecloths, etc.
ROSARIO SAYS: "The mixture of colors and types of fabric gives a simple, lively and naive character to this fabric"
