- Beautiful vintage ticking fabric in salmon pink and white stripes. It is a sturdy European fabric made around 1950 that blends sateen weave with damask jacquard with geometric motifs. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutís" (from French "coutil")
This fabric has never been used. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories in the Mediterranean. It's medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for upholstery projects, curtains, cushions, etc. Use these fabrics for projects where "peace" is the fundamental idea.
ROSARIO SAYS: "I love how few elements managed to make such interesting fabrics: Here, the damask puts a note of vividness in the simple white and pink lines."
