  • Beautiful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in pink with a motif of large white flowers that look like chrysanthemums. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is a medium weight cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. Dahlias and chrysanthemums appear in many oriental motifs, in the fashion of 1900 in Europe. (Art Nouveau, Modernisme)
