Beautiful vintage forest green mattress fabric (ticking) with an original and curious oriental motif. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This extra soft cotton fabric is lightweight. Perfect textile for decoration projects, cushions, bags, etc. Oriental and exotic motifs appear on this canvas according to the taste of the time. They remind us of the Chinoiseries of French Art Nouveau, here we see friends chatting. Oriental environment and architectures.
