- Excellent old Finnish mattress fabric (“patjakangas”) with orange and blue stripes. It is an old twill fabric, on a hand loom, 54 cm wide. The mattress is made with two pieces joined together. It is a very dense twill to contain the goose feathers and on the reverse it is slightly flanneled like other textiles of the time. It is from the 1930s, as seen in The Finnish Labor Museum Werstas.
