Good condition. Minor wear consistent with age and history. Wonderful piece, in beautiful antique condition. No eyelets! A small weaving imperfection towards the side seams, at about 4 cm from one side. Very soft and moldable. It will be a pleasure to work with this textile.
- Cheerful vintage ticking fabric with stripes of yellow, grey, white and a slight black line. It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 from sateen weave. In the past, these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called “cutís” (or in French “coutil”). The sateen weave and the years have made this fabric feel soft and very moldable. The yellow tone gives a warm appearance to our projects.
