Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Only a few light wear marks towards the bottom where the seams were, the rest of the piece is impeccable. (It is 58x104 cm without these marks, where the seams were). Not at all perfect but with the imperfections often present in these beautiful antique textiles.
- Beautiful vintage ticking fabric with beige and blue stripes and some thin white stripes. It is a European “cutí” (or in French “coutil”) twill fabric from around 1940. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is light-medium weight cotton. It has a delicious combination of colors.
