Length: 75 cm. (29")
Condition: Good
Good condition. Minor wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage. Some pale fading towards the bottom right corner. This panel has an area of about 75x47 cm without eyelets, perfect for a large lumbar / long pillow. Extremely beautiful and rare! Gorgeous juicy colors and soft texture.
- Wonderful vintage ticking fabric with cream, white, pink and blue stripes. It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 from herringbone weave. In the past, these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called “cutís” (or in French “coutil”). It is made of medium-weight cotton. The herringbone weave has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture.
ROSARIO SAYS: “A perfect combination of colors and widths of the stripes!!! “It is elegant as well as fresh and attractive.”
