Condition: Good
Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Minor color fading or discoloration towards the bottom edge. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact. A few very small scuffs with slight wear, but it is still very usable. This piece has aged wonderfully. A fantastic textile!
- Lovely light pink, gray striped vintage ticking fabric with some thin yellow stripes. It is a European twill fabric called Cutí (or in French “coutil”) from around 1940. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a light-medium weight cotton fabric.
